Babatunde Lea |
|
|
|
Babatunde Lea is a Bay Area percussionist, and an established session musician. He has worked alongside Pharaoh Sanders, Van Morrison, McCoy Tyner, Leon Thomas, Joe Henderson, John Tchicai, and Bobby Hutcherson, before recording an album for Ubiquity Jazz that will remind listeners that he is a skilled band leader, too.

Vince Wallace |
|
|
|
Wallace is a West Coast jazz legend to area musicians and fans with long memories. An Oakland native, Wallace had been playing up and down California since the 50's.

Michael has been active in the last several years, leading various types of jazz groups in the Bay Area. These include a three year engagement with his trio at the Ritz Carlton Hotel and his current (now in it’s forth year) engagement with his quartet at Cetrella in Half Moon Bay. Besides his small group performances, Michael has performed with several of the Bay Area’s leading big bands including a two year stint with the Contemporary Jazz Orchestra (the Monday night band at Jazz At Pearl’s). He has played at all the leading jazz venues in the Bay Area including Yoshi’s, Jazz at Pearl’s, the Bach Dancing and Dynamite Society and Bruno’s, both as a leader of his own groups and as a sideman with others.

Frankye Kelly |
|
|
|
Frankye Kelly was born in Jackson, Mississippi and exposed to music at the tender age of three by her grandmother. Kelly has performed with many jazz and blues greats such as Calvin Keys, Coco Montoya, Robert Stewart, Ed Kelly, Kalil Shahid, and Buddy Montgomery. She opened for the legendary Pharaoh Saunders at the 2002 Sacramento Heritage Festival. She performed with Calvin Keys with the great Taj Mahal in the audience.

Noel Catura |
|
|
|
Noel Catura is currently performing with his own Jazz Group as well as with Christine Marie, and Big City Revue. Noel performs with many of the top bands in the bay area as a freelance musician as well.
