| OJazz
programs for young people are developed to influence and
offer youth more tools to communicate and express themselves.
Our education programs, offer engaging classroom discussions,
performances, and links jazz to academic curricula. New jazz
enthusiasts experience jazz culture first hand from today's
premier musicians. Jazz programs are presented to Bay Area
public schools free of charge.

socialize and discuss issues related to jazz education for

Jazz
Works is a student outreach program designed to attract young
people to jazz and encourage them to play an instrument.
The program is a collaborative effort with local schools
and established music institutions. This program includes:
- Demonstrations
- Live performances at public
events by performing young musicians
- Instruments on display
- Peer-to-peer question and
answers sessions
- Resources for private instruction
- Information about music
programs
- Opportunities to meet educators,
tutors, and music instructors.
